Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the 27th International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan – OGU 2025" and the International Energy Forum, trilateral negotiations took place between Uzbekneftegaz, the American company Air Products, a global leader in industrial gases, and Synfuels, a company specializing in advanced synthetic fuel production technologies.

The main focus of the discussions was the prospects and technologies of coal gasification to produce syngas, as well as its subsequent use for the production of liquid hydrocarbons and high-value-added chemical products.

Coal gasification was identified as one of the promising areas for the deep processing of carbon-containing raw materials. This process not only ensures sustainable energy supply but also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint, which is crucial in the context of sustainable development.

During the negotiations, the parties also discussed potential directions for further cooperation and key technological solutions that could be implemented within the framework of their partnership.
